About Me

I am the product of a multi-racial family representing Mescalero Apache, Castilian Spanish, and Irish heritage. I am a child of the desert who was raised in a small ranching community outside Santa Fe, New Mexico. Northern New Mexicans have, for many generations, practiced and perfected many forms of art for which they hand down from one generation to the next. I have been fortunate to carry with me some of those teachings. Movement, expression, color, and warmth are essential to my spirit. I have a past rooted in music, dancing, jewelry making and literature. I have aspired to earn three postgraduate degrees which culminated in a career in education focused on supporting and advocating for the uniquely gifted. For the last decade, I have endeavored to educate myself in the art of Photography. My photos are a reflection of travels and adventures shared with my husband, 3 children, and 3 dachshunds; the subjects I shoot span cultures and continents. I continually search to capture the senses and heart of the human existence.

Espero que te guste mi alegría!
